(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: To overcome the growing cases of Coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a review meeting with chief ministers of 8 states through video conferencing. During the meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave 3 important instructions to the Chief Ministers, which can help in overcoming the corona.
Amit Shah gave the Chief Ministers a 3-point target, the first of which is that all states must ensure that the corona mortality rate remains below 1 percent. After this, all states will have to take care that the growth rate in new cases of the corona is not more than 5 percent. Apart from this, he asked the Chief Ministers to ensure that the officials visit the Red Zone every week and decide on the future of the Red Zone based on the data collected from there.
According to the data released on Tuesday from the Union Health Ministry, 37 thousand 975 new cases of Corona in India have been reported in the country. After which the number of total infected in the country has increased to more than 91 lakh 77 thousand. Out of these, 86 lakh 4 thousand people have been cured by Corona. With 480 new deaths in the country, the total death toll has increased to 1 lakh 34 thousand 218.
