(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: Today, from December 1, new guidelines of Corona have been implemented throughout the country. Under the new guidelines, some states and union territories, where cases of corona are on the rise, can impose restrictions like night curfew. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued ‘Monitoring, Prevention and Precaution’ guidelines for December 1.
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that a list of all the infected people would be made and what they came in contact with would be quarantined. In cases of infection, it will have to be monitored for 14 days and 80 percent of the people coming in contact with the patient will be detected in 72 hours.
What do the new guidelines say
- Corona patients will be provided with immediate home isolation and medical care if they meet the conditions.
- People should also be made aware of the appropriate behavior in relation to Covid-19.
- Proper distance directions have to be followed in crowded places, markets, haats, and public transport.
- The prevention strategy should focus on monitoring, other measures.
- Provision for the imposition of night curfew to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Union Territories and States.
For which permission :
- Some activities outside the prohibited areas are allowed all activities except conditional permission.
- Cinema halls and theaters have been permitted to operate with a seating capacity of 50 percent.
- Up to 200 people with a maximum capacity of 50 percent in a hall in the event of social, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural and religious gathering.
- Depending on the situation, state governments may limit the number of people in closed places to 100.
- There will be no restriction on movement of goods in and out of the states or outside.
- No separate permit or permission will be required for the movement of people.
Restrictions will continue in the Containment Zone :
- Only necessary activities will be approved in the Containment Zone and strict restrictions will be imposed on the movement of people within its ambit.
- Only emergency medical needs and maintaining necessary supplies and service supplies will be approved.
- Health teams will conduct door-to-door surveys to locate infected people.
- Infected people will be monitored and a list of people exposed to them will be made.
