(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: As per the biggest recruitment process of Indian Railways to date, the confusion of the candidates regarding the dates of conducting the first stage examinations has now ended. The Railway Recruitment Board yesterday, Tuesday, December 1, scheduled the dates for the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT 1) of Non-Technical Popular Category (RRB NTPC), RRC Group D (Level 1), and Ministerial and Isolated Categories (RRB MI) has announced. Vinod Kumar Yadav, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Railway Recruitment Board gave information about the dates of these pending examinations during a video conferencing, as per the news of the news agenda talks.
According to the information given by the RRB chairman, examinations for various posts of the Railway MI category will be conducted from December 15 to December 18. RRB MI category examinations will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Along with this, the CEO said that Railways NTPC examinations will start from December 28 at the end of this month and will be conducted on different dates till March 2021. Similarly, regarding RRC Group D (Level 1) examinations, the CEO said that the first stage computer-based examination will be conducted from April 15, 2021, as part of the selection process for more than 1 lakh posts of Level 1. RRB Group D (Level 1) CBT 2021 will be held on different dates till the month of June.
Explain that earlier, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board announced on 5 September 2020 to conduct NTPC, MI category and Level 1 (Group D) category examinations on 15 December. Railways are to recruit 1.4 lakh Group C and Group D posts in all three categories. On the other hand, the RRB chairman said for the candidates selected through the recruitment procedures conducted earlier in the railways, that the candidates whose process has been completed will definitely be appointed and the training of these candidates will be completed by August 2021.
