Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Lucknow: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that the UP government wants to close Ambedkar hostels located in many cities. As much oppression is being done in the state on Dalits as in any other state.
Priyanka was speaking through video conferencing in the Dalit Mahapanchayat organized by the Congress Scheduled Department at the Congress headquarters. He said that the way Dalits were tortured in all places including Hathras, Lalitpur, and Azamgarh is worrying.
In all these places, Congress stood up and agitated with the victims. He appealed to the leaders and workers of the Scheduled Castes Department to stand firmly with the victims. Add more and more new people to the organization. These tasks will strengthen us and the organization.
