Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Lucknow: There will be festive atmosphere at KGMU from 17 to 22 December. During this, the convocation ceremony and establishment day will be celebrated twice. In this sequence, 17 will be organized on last year’s Foundation Day, 21 on convocation and 22 on this year’s Foundation Day. The invitation has been sent to the President at the convocation of 21. Faculty members met on Friday to prepare for these events. 17 committees have been formed for the event. The committee consists of five to 10 faculty members.
At KGMU, about 160 medals have not yet been given to 93 students of last year’s convocation. Therefore, these medals will be given in a simple ceremony on 17 December. The event will take place at Brown Hall. On December 21, the 16th convocation of the university will be celebrated.
In this, the President has been invited as the chief guest. In this, students will be honored with medals given by various departments including Hivet and Chancellor Medals. Similarly, the 115th Foundation Day will be celebrated on 22 December. In the meeting held for this, Vice Chancellor Lieutenant General Bipin Puri inquired about the preparations.
Preparations for the 7th convocation on December 14 in Rehabilitation University have intensified. The university administration has increased the registration date from December 2 to December 7 for students receiving degrees and medals at the ceremony. Controller of Examinations Dr. Amit Kumar Rai said that after this registration will not be possible.
