(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said on Thursday that students need not be worried about the date of the CBSE 10th 12th examinations. Exam dates will be released long before the CBSE examinations begin. Students will get plenty of time to prepare. He said that CBSE has reduced the syllabus by 30 percent of the board examination. Regarding the JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 examinations, the Union Education Minister said that in-depth discussions are going on to reduce the syllabus of these two competitive exams.
Nishank said that the JEE Main exam is still held twice a year. The government is considering the suggestion of doing it three to four times.
Nishank said all these things while he was answering questions from students, teachers, and parents on the issue of upcoming board exams and competitive exams like JEE Main and NEET through webinars. Significantly, there is a lot of confusion among the students about all these questions when the board examinations including CBSE will be held in Corona crisis, how will it be, what will be the schedule of competitive entrance exams like JEE Main and NEET. The datesheet of the CBSE exam 2021 has not been released yet.
The Union Minister of Education tried to address the problems of the students by answering the questions. He said that the CBSE board has also removed the word failed from the mark sheet. Efforts are being made to get the education of school students better by online mode. India’s new education policy is being praised all over the world.
How will the NEET exam be online or offline? On this Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said, ‘NEET has been offline and JEE Main has been online. If there are more suggestions on getting Neet online, then we will consider it. One student said NEET exam should be canceled in July. The minister said, there is no question to cancel the NEET exam. During NEET 2020, we saw that the students wanted the exam. A moment of students is important for the country. The Supreme Court also said that the examination and safety of students should be ensured. But all I can say is that the exam date will be declared long before the exam starts so that you can get full time for preparation.
