(Aditya Shaw, Intern Journalist): The number of corona infections in the country is rapidly decreasing. On Tuesday, 26 thousand 251 new cases came, 33 thousand 853 patients were cured and 383 died. In this way 8 thousand 8 active cases were reduced. So far, 99.32 lakh cases have been reported in the country. Of these, 94.55 lakh patients have been cured. 1.44 lakh have died and 3.30 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
Every day around 25-30 thousand cases are coming. In such a situation, the number of total infected can cross 10 million in the next three days. These figures are taken from covid19india.org.
Corona updates:
Health Secretary Amit Negi of Uttarakhand was found corona infected on Wednesday. So far, 83 thousand 5 hundred 2 cases have been reported in the state, in which 6 thousand 89 patients are still under treatment.
Amid growing cases of corona in Maharashtra, the Maharashtra government has taken a major decision. The RT-PCR test will now be done in the state for Rs 700. Earlier it was priced at Rs 980.
The nursing union, which went on strike at Delhi AIIMS, withdrew its decision after discussion with the administration. Earlier, the Delhi High Court had prohibited the strike and asked nurses to return to work.
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij’s lung infection has increased. He came to Corona positive on 5 December. He has been shifted from Rohtak PGI to Medanta in case the condition does not improve.
