(Juhi Aishwary, Journalist): Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has said that the country’s recovery rate has gone above 58 percent and about 3 lakh people have recovered from Corona. The Health Minister also said that our death rate is close to 3% which is very low. It has been nearly 19 days since the cases of corona in India doubled. This rate was 3 days before the lockdown in the country.
Earlier in New Delhi, the Group of Ministers (GoM) meeting on COVID19 under the chairmanship of Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Health Minister, took place through video conferencing. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri were also present in the meeting.
Fast growing recovery rate
It may be noted that in the last 24 hours in the country, there has been a record increase in the cases of the corona, but during this time the number of patients recovering from corona in the country is also not low. According to the latest data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 10,245 patients of Corona have been cured in the last 24 hours in the country. With this, about 3 lakh patients of Corona have been cured in the country so far. According to the latest figures, a total of 2, 95,881 people have been cured of Corona so far.
Death rate extremely low
Thus, the recovery rate of corona in the country has been more than 58 percent. Currently, the death toll from Corona has reached 15,685. These are the lowest number of deaths in the country. So far the death rate of corona in the country is around 3%. The total number of corona cases in the country has now crossed 5 lakhs. A total of 5, 08,953 cases have been reported in the country so far. Speaking of the last 24 hours, Corona has recorded the highest number of 18,552 cases in a single day in the country. In the last 24 hours, 384 people have died due to corona.
