Around 21 lakh migrants returned during this period. Statistics released by the Center show that more than one lakh workers in eight districts have returned to Bihar. More than one lakh migrants have returned in three districts of Rajasthan, two districts of Uttar Pradesh, and one district of Madhya Pradesh. These districts of the four states, including Bihar, have been selected under the Centre’s Poor Welfare Employment Campaign.
