(Riya Singh, Intern journalist)Patna: The number of corona infected has crossed 2,000 in Patna. On Saturday, 275 blocks have been found infected in Patna City. Thus the number of infected has increased to 2163. An infected woman from Patna City died in AIIMS. The death toll has reached 21 in the district.
According to the report on Saturday, the infected include more people from urban areas than rural areas. Of these, about 30 infected are from Patna City, 27 from Masaurhi, six personnel of PMCH including the Chief Metron, one Budco officer, two doctors from IGIC, and Health Department officials have also been found infected.
On the other hand, there are 15 infected patients in Patna AIIMS from Patna itself. Among them, two each from Ashok Rajpath, Jakkanpur, and Anishabad, one personnel from Budco Office, one each from Patliputra Colony, Krishnanagar, Khajpura, Digha, Gardanibagh, and Shastrinagar are infected. 56 patients have been reported positive in PMCH, out of which 40 are from Patna. The total number of active cases in Patna is 1060, while the number of people returning home has become 1039.
