At the AGM held on August 12 last year, Ambani announced his plans to sell a stake in RIL’s technology venture and oil to chemical business by March 2021 to become debt-free.
Reliance Industries has raised Rs 1.18 lakh crore through the sale of a 25.24 percent stake in Jio Platforms. At the same time, the company has also acquired Rs 53,124 crore through the country’s largest rights issue. Through this, the company has already become debt-free.
