But in spite of this, scientists from all over the world say that in developing countries like India, the number of people dying from TB, Malaria, and AIDS can increase drastically. Scientists advise that these diseases already present in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic cannot be ignored.
- The malaria death rate may rise up to 30 percent
Scientists in the latest research in Britain’s prestigious medical journal Lancet have said that other challenges may increase due to the coronavirus in developing and poor countries.
Research says that in a country like India, the number of people dying from TB, malaria, and AIDS is likely to increase amidst the prevention of the coronavirus. In the next five years, in a country like India, there will be an increase of 20% in those who die from TB, 30% from malaria, and 10% from AIDS infection. Adding on, most of the developing and poor countries have not taken care of other diseases in order to avoid corona.

In this recently published research, scientists say that if developing and poor countries pay attention to their policies in time, then people can be saved from dying from existing TB, Malaria, and AIDS.
