(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): Prime Minister Narendra Modi credited the grass-root health system to assist the country secure one amongst the world’s best recovery rates on Friday. “Be it earthquakes, cyclones, Ebola crisis, or any other natural or man-made crisis, India has responded with speed and solidarity. In our joint fight against COVID, we have extended medical and other assistance to over 150 countries.”

The Prime Minister met along with his Norwegian counterpart Erna Solberg and international organization Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the valedictory session. The subject this year is ‘Multilateralism after COVID19: What kind of UN do we need at the 75th anniversary’.
