(Namita Pradesh, intern journalist) The Centre has declared mourning of 7days for the death of the former president Pranab Mukherjee all over India.
The mourning period of 7days was held in order to pay a tribute to the former president. He passed away on Monday. It occurred as a mark of departed dignity. The 7day national mourning will start from 31st August to 6th September.
During this period the National flag is to be flown at the hall which is a must for every house and there should not be any official entertainment.
His funeral most probably to be held on Tuesday.
