A man used to send pictures to Pakistan

(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a youth from a village bordering the international border in Samba district on the charge of spying for Pakistan.
The youth used to take sensitive photographs from the border areas and send them to Pakistan. From 2018 he was sending photos to Pakistan. Instead, he was given money from there. In Samba district, a youth from the village bordering the international border has arrested a young man in the Honeytrap case.

Four mobile SIM cards have been recovered from the youth’s possession. The accused was on the radar of security agencies for several months. He was arrested as soon as the information regarding the connection with the ISI of Pakistan was confirmed. The young man was first made friends on Facebook with an ID called a Dubai girl and then sent sensitive photos from the border areas. There has also been talking of money transfer in the account of the accused several times. At present, the police have registered a case under the Enemy Agents Ordinance and intensified interrogation of the accused.

Security agencies had been tracking the activities of this youth for the past several months. After receiving strong input, the cyber cell was contacted to confirm some information. The youth was taken into custody from border village Abatal Katla soon after confirmation from the cyber cell. Sources associated with the intelligence agency said that the transfer of some money into the account of the 21-year-old youth has also been revealed, but it is being investigated. The young man was approached by a girl’s Facebook ID. Several times the money was transferred to the account and the order of sending the pictures from Samba to the given address continued.
