(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist ) Pakistan: A person from the Ahmadi community facing a case of blasphemy was shot and killed in front of a judge in a court in Pakistan. Police gave this information. He told that Tahir Ahmad Nasim was arrested 2 years ago on charges of blasphemy. He has shot in the courtroom in front of Additional Sessions Judge Shauktullah Khan. He died on the spot. The court is in a highly guarded area of a cantonment area. The main gate of the judicial complex and inside it is tight security. However, it was not known the armed attacker entered the court amidst tight security. The police arrested the killer in the courtroom.

A lawyer present in the courtroom during the incident said that a case was registered against the deceased under the blasphemy law. It is noteworthy that blasphemy is a very sensitive issue in Pakistan, where the accused often becomes the victim of mob violence only after being accused.
