(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)Vijayawada: A special survey is conducted in Krishna district regarding the antibody count in the people of Krishna. District Collector Mohammad Imtiyaz, in a press conference on Tuesday, stated that The agenda of the survey is to track the health status of the people. This started on the 6th of August and will end on 12th August.
For this survey, around 3,750 blood samples were collected, out of which 3,000 blood samples were taken from healthy residents of the district, while the remaining were taken from the police, sanitary workers, and other government officers. All the samples are taken the patients who aren’t affected by the virus.
Among the state, Krishna, Nellore, and East Godavari districts were selected for this antibody count survey by the Indian council of medical research(ICMR), added Imtiaz. The survey in charge, Dr. Gandhi, Dr. Mariya Kumar, and Dr. Navaneeethi Lakshmi took part in the event.
