Chittorgarh: 32 yr old women murder her 70-year-old mother in law at their residence in Chembur’s posted Sagar colony in Mumbai.
The victim begged outside the Jain temple.
The victim’s husband passed away a few years ago. The couple had no children so they adopted Dinesh, the son of a husband brother
The victim owns 4 flats two in Chembur and two in worli . She had rented out the three flat and live in 4th one with her adopted son and wife.
Sanjana used to beg outside the Temple in the city and also earning money from renting out flats.
Sanjana was taken to Rajawadi Hospital, her family claims that she fell in the bathroom. However, a suspicious noticing around 14 injury and stretch marks on her neck.
The police initiated an investigation after registering a case of Murder.
The accused daughter-in-law did not cooperate in the investigation. The police got lead after her younger daughter told that her mother and grandmother fought in the morning. The old lady used to beg and hide money anywhere in the house and ask Anjana which resulted in a fight.
It happened around 3 p.m. Anjana got filled up with rage and picked up the cricket bat and assaulted Sanjana several times she also uses a mobile charger to strangulate her till she stops breathing.
Later the accused confessed that she was fed up with frequent fights and wanted all four flats to be transferred in her name.
