She was attacked indiscriminately as she resisted during the rape. This caused several fractures in her body. Her tongue was also cut off and she was bleeding profusely. The victim is currently being treated at a private hospital and is hovering among the dead. The incident, which took place on September 14, came late into the light.
What the police are saying … According to Hathras SP Vikrant Veer’s account … On the 14th of this month, the young woman went to the crop fields with her mother and brother to mow the grass. Shortly after that, the young woman disappeared. With this, all the family members searched for her together… She appeared somewhere for a long time. Hutahutina was rushed to the hospital as she was already in critical condition. A 20-year-old man named Sandeep was arrested with preliminary evidence.
Actually what happened on that day… The victim’s brother said … Today our mother, elder brother, and sister went to the farm to mow the grass together. After a while, he came home with a big mound of grass. Mom and sister were still there mowing the grass.
In that order, while going a little distance from each other and mowing the grass … four or five men attacked our sister from behind. Chunni was wrapped around her neck and locked in the fields.
The negligent cops’ had not been seen for a while and our mother started looking for her. Eventually, Ochota appeared to have fallen into a coma. She had already been raped. He complained to the police but there was no response from them at first. After four and a half days, they did not take any action, ‘said the victim’s brother.
Hathras, on the other hand, denied allegations that the police had acted negligently. The victim in the mortuary said the victim was arrested immediately after the names of the accused were revealed. He said that the trial would be completed soon … He appealed to the judge to hold a hearing in the fast track court on this.
Earlier, the victim had testified before a magistrate that four persons, Sandeep, Ramu, Love Kush, and Ravi, had raped her. All of them were identified by the police as youths belonging to the local top castes. She is currently receiving treatment at Aligarh JN Medical College.
Doctors said her condition was critical at the moment due to severe internal injuries. He said she would have to move to Delhi for better treatment.
