(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): The government has issued a clarification on the makers of the Aarogya Setu app after the top RTI body Central Information Commission (CIC) asked about the app’s origin from government departments. “The app was launched by the Government of India in public-private partnership mode… It was developed in a record time of around 21 days,” the Ministry of Electronics and IT said.
