Saloni Subha (Intern Journalist) New Delhi: Auto component industry body Acma on Monday urges the Haryana goverment to reconsider the 75% employment reservation for locals in private enterprises, saying the step would adversely affect the ease of doing business in Haryana.
On November 5, the state assembly passed the Haryana state Employment of Local Candidates Bill which mandates,75% reservation in factories and other primary activities in the private sector for locals.
Emphasizing the need for reconsidering this provision, Acma president Deepak Jain said the Indian auto and component industry is a global one and the production not only caters to the domestic demand but also the international market.
