(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: The All India Council for Technical Education has given permission to students seeking admission in MBA and PGDM course without any entrance exam, giving huge relief. However, this facility will be applicable only to the remaining seats. AICTE Chairman Anil D. Sahastrabuddhe said that due to corona, the examinations for admission to management at many state centers could not be held. Many cases were also found that students could not reach the examination venue. It is to be noted that CAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, etc. exams are there for admission in the management courses. It is necessary to pass the test for admission to an MBA or PGDM course under the rules of AICTE.

Sahastrabudhe said that in the view of circumstances arising out of the corona, we have allowed the admission of students on vacant seats on the basis of graduate education. Under this, if the seats in a college are left vacant and the candidates who apply to those who could not sit the test, then they can be admitted. If there is more than one candidate, the selection will be done on the basis of merit.
