(Aditya Shaw, Intern Journalist): In the midst of the ever-increasing attacks by terrorists, the administration has provided accommodation facilities to about 400 people, including their near relatives, too many BJP leaders and activists, and Panch-Sarpanchs in safe places. Political activists belonging to NC, PDP, and Congress are also among those who get security. Meanwhile, the BJP has also urged the police to create an effective security quiz for its activists in Kashmir. You are aware that during the last one week three BJP leaders have been attacked in the Valley. Two of them have died while another struggles between life and death in a hospital.
Many BJP leaders have also resigned from politics to avoid terrorist attacks. In view of the attacks and threats of terrorists, the administration has provided residential facilities to many panchayat representatives, members of municipal bodies, and many BJP workers at district headquarters and other safe places. Their relatives and some other close relations with these people have also been kept in a safe place. Many people have been accommodated in hotels located at tourist places like Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonamarg. Not only this, but these people are also being provided residential facilities in various safe residential colonies and security camps located in hotels, district headquarters of Srinagar.
400 people were provided safe accommodation: According to the concerned sources, during the last few days, around 400 people have been provided residential accommodation in safe places. BJP State Spokesperson Altaf Thakur said that we urge the police to prepare an effective plan and strong security quiz to ensure the safety of BJP leaders and workers in the Valley. In Kashmir, BJP people are being targeted under a well-planned conspiracy. This includes terrorists and separatists as well as their local agents. Altaf Thakur said that our request is that there should be a safe building in each district headquarters, in which those BJP leaders and workers belonging to that district can be named, who is in the hit list of terrorists.
