(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist) New Delhi, The problem of poor climate is not limited to Delhi-NCR alone, but more than a hundred cities in 23 states of the country suffer from it. Despite this, its states are not interested in dealing with it. This is the situation when it is directly affecting people’s health. This is the reason why the central government has started work on a new plan to deal with it and increase the participation of states.
In this, additional financial and technical support will be provided to the states that perform better in the campaign against pollution. The Union Ministry of Forest and Environment has also started work on this scheme because, under the National Clean Air Program, the target is to clean the air by the year 2024.
