(Pooja Dubey, Intern journalist) Airtel has introduced its video conferencing app ‘Bluejeans’ in India to compete with Reliance Jio’s video conferencing app ‘JioMeet’. Airtel has partnered with American telecom company Verizon.BlueJeans is a product of Verizon itself.

The difference between JioMeet and BlueJeans is that JioMeet is for both enterprises and general users, while BlueJeans is currently only for enterprises. Airtel BlueJeans competes with JioMeet, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft in India.


Airtel BlueJeans will be free for the first three months, after which money will have to be paid. To available this service, customers have to register by visiting Airtel’s website. Free activation will be done within 24 hours of submitting the details on the website.

The features of Airtel BlueJeans, then real-time meeting analytics will be available. Apart from this, live meeting control will also be available. Users will also get a dial-in feature in Airtel BlueJeans, which will have to pay 50 paise per call. It may consist of 150 presenters and 50,000 attendees simultaneously. It can be accessed through a web browser and mobile. A 100 percent claim has been made about security.
