(Juhi Aishwary, Journalist): The US has extradited Al Qaeda terrorist Mohammed Ibrahim Zubair to India. This information was received on Thursday. Zubair was accused of providing resources to terrorists in America. According to high officials of the Telangana police, on Wednesday, Zubair reached Amritsar and was kept quarantined there.
Let us tell that on May 19, the United States sent 167 Indians by special aircraft that were living illegally in America. Now America arrested them and handed over to India including Al Qaeda terrorist Zubair. A 40-year-old Zubair, a resident of Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Osmania University and a master’s degree in structural engineering from the University of Illinois.
In the year 2001, he left India and went to America. There he continued his studies in Ohio and in this sequence he came in contact with the terrorist organization Al Qaeda. Meanwhile, he also roamed in many Arab countries. In 2006, he moved to Toledo, Ohio, and married an American woman. He then became a permanent resident therefrom 2007.
He is the brother of Yahya Farooq Mohammad. Both brothers used to share speeches and other materials of Al Qaeda leader Anwar Al Awlaki. He was killed in a drone attack in Yemen in 2011. Both of these were influenced by Avalaki. Yahya Farooq also shares videos of Taliban and Chechen terrorists. Zubair was arrested in 2015. Cases have been registered against Zubair, Yahya, and some other terrorists in several other cases, including the Terror Funding case in the US. Zubair and Yahya were sentenced to five years of imprisonment for 27 years by the US District Court in the Northern District of Ohio Western Division. The court said in the verdict, ’37-year-old Yahya Farooq Mohammad, 37-year-old Ibrahim Zubair Mohammad, 36-year-old Asif Ahmed Salim convicted on charges of providing support for terrorists Are being given.’
