Harjot Kaur Dhillon (Intern Journalist), Ranchi: Administrative officials of all districts have been alerted regarding the second phase of the coronavirus. The Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of many districts are also keeping their level of vigilance. The vigil has been intensified, especially in the districts adjoining West Bengal. After Durga Puja, there is an increased possibility of coronavirus infection in the districts of Jharkhand adjoining West Bengal. A vehicle checking drive is being carried out in the East Singhbhum area.

It is reported that after the death rate from Corona it has been decided at the local level that intensive screening of the mask will take place. In Jharkhand’s districts adjoining other states, orders have been made to speed up the checking of masks. Similarly, vigilance is being done at the administrative level in Chhattisgarh and adjoining parts of Odisha. However, no special order has been issued from the Police Headquarters level regarding the investigation of the mask. In this context, decisions have been taken by the authorities at the local level.

Here, a total of 14,211 people have been coronated in Jharkhand on Sunday. Of these, 175 were found infected. 333 patients have also recovered in various districts of the state. At the same time, seven patients, including former minister OP Lala, have died in the course of treatment. Two patients have died in Ranchi and one each in Palamu, Hazaribagh, Jamtara, Godda, and East Singhbhum.

Let me tell you that it was already feared that Corona cases may increase after the festivals. First Durga Puja, then Diwali, and now after Chhath festival, there was a possibility of increasing community infection of Corona. By the way, the government was constantly being instructed to follow the mask and physical distance as a precaution. But now intensive checking of people without masks can be controlled to a great extent in curbing the corona infection.
