(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): In the midst of an uproar from Bollywood fans alleging anti-nepotism, Alia Bhatt has been holding quiet on social media lately. Recently, however, the actress broke her silence by posting a cryptic message about envy. The star posted a quotation that reads: “Envy is actually admiration poisoned by hate and a lack of gratitude”. Beyond that, Alia posted a few other mysterious posts as well.
The actress had also shared a post on her Instagram story saying, “The truth is the truth, even if no one believes it. A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it.” Another post read “Silence says a lot more than you think.”
Alia’s recent cryptic quotes come right in the middle of a continuing nepotism debate that has generated quite a ripple in Bollywood, particularly after the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput. If you didn’t remember, these debates began after the tragic passing of Sushant Singh Rajput, and Alia and her family were on the receiving end.
Mahesh Bhatt has also been sharing some mysterious posts on his social media. The filmmaker recently called the world a “broken and sick place” on Twitter after the FIR was filed against Rhea Chakraborty. The director had written how everybody is “blink of an eye” here in this universe. He also added how one’s dignity dissolves in their death presence. He also encouraged everyone to accept their fate. He ended with the tweet that said “this too shall pass.”
