(Bhagya Luxmi, Intern Journalist) Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life due to floods in West Garo Hills in Meghalaya. In a tweet, the Union Home Minister said that he had spoken to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mr. Conrad Sangma, and assured him of all possible assistance from the Central Government.
Shri Amit Shah said that in this time of crisis, the whole country stands with the people of Meghalaya.
