The name of that person is Lungi Manjhi (Laungi Bhuiyan). In fact, Lungi has dug a 3 km long canal to collect the rainwater coming down from the hills near his village Kothilawa in Lathua region of Gaya, Bihar. This work took 30 years of his life.

In response to this tweet, Anand Mahindra assured to help Lungi Manjhi. He wrote in the reply, ‘It will be my privilege to give him (Lungi Manjhi) a tractor. As you know, I tweeted that I think their canal is as impressive as the Taj or the Pyramids. It will be an honor for us to use our tractor at Mahindra Rise. ”Anand Mahindra had also asked the user how his team can reach Manjhi.
Anand Mahindra had promised to give a tractor to Bhuiyan on Saturday morning and by Saturday night, Laungi Bhuiyan was gifted a tractor by Mahindra Tractors. No money was taken from them for this. Bhuiyan says, ‘I am very happy. I didn’t even think in my dreams that I would get it. ‘
