Former BJP MP Ramesh Bais has been made Governor of Tripura. Even after his ticket was cut in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he had campaigned for the party.
Governors of many big states of the country including Uttar Pradesh been changed. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has been appointed as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. They will replace Ram Naik. Anandaben is currently the state capital of the neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh. Bihar’s Governor Lalji Tandan has been made the new Governor of Madhya Pradesh instead of Anandiben Patel. According to information received from Rashtrapati Bhavan, now Phagu Chauhan has been appointed as the new Governor of Bihar.
Apart from this, other states have also got new governors. RN Ravi has been appointed Governor of Nagaland. Also Jagdeep Dhankar will now be the new Governor of West Bengal Apart from this, Ramesh Bass has been made Governor of Tripura. According to information received from Rashtrapati Bhavan, the appointment of all these new governors will start from the day of assuming his office.
