(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist) The world is still fighting with COVID 19 and China is on the way to introduce a new disease called Brucellosis. 3,200 people had been affected so far with this disease in China.
According to WHO, Brucellosis is a bacterial disease caused by various Brucella species, which mainly infect cattle, swine, goat, sheep, and dogs. It causes flu-like symptoms, including fever, weakness, malaise, and weight loss. Humans can get infected through direct contact with the infected animals, by eating or drinking contaminated animal products, or by inhaling airborne agents
