Fish markets

The situation will not come back to normal until the middle class, working-class and major consumers get their livelihood. “The fish prices are not even fetching half the prices before lockdown”, said state agriculture mission vice-chairman and fish farmer MVS Nagireddy.

Though AP Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken initiative to promote fish markets, but localized restrictions are pulling them back. Fish Farmers culturing Katla and Rohu in the Krishna delta saw loss up to 4 Lac. Only improved life conditions of the common man will bring the fish consumption to normal. But we never know, when that actually happens.
