(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist) Hyderabad: The state government of Andhra Pradesh has established a committee led by Chief secretary Neelam Sahni, to study the proposal of reorganizing districts in the state. The decision was made on Wednesday after the cabinet meeting.

The AP Cabinet Chaired by YS Jagan Promised to raise the number of districts to 25 based on Lok sabha constituencies. YS Jagan assured this during his marathon walk before the 2019 elections. “The resources and Budget has to be equally distributed among the states.” Added Jagan.

The committee has to traverse through minimum expenditure and maximum benefit to the Common people of AP. The Total committee will include the chief commissioner of land acquisition, GAD secretary, planning secretary, Representative of the Chief minister’s office, and a finance secretary.

In the same general meeting, the AP cabinet also approved AP Renewable energy export policy 2020. It would allow the AP government to export renewable energy. Earlier, AP Government resolved to set up 10,000 MW solar power plants in every district.
