Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Lucknow: Fog increased after the mercury fell in the capital on Sunday. Lucknow was the second most polluted city in the country with 406 air quality index (AQI). While Muzaffarpur was the most polluted city with 453 AQIs.

According to records, pollution in Lucknow has increased more than the cities of UP in Delhi and NCR. Lucknow air was getting bad 48 hours ago. Now it has reached the dangerous category. Delhi’s AQI 321 was recorded on Sunday. At the same time, AQI of Ghaziabad was 346 and Noida of 333. UPPCB officials say this is happening due to the freezing of air and increasing fog. Regional officer Dr. Ramkaran has said that necessary efforts are made to reduce it.
