(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Bijnor: Police have arrested a beleaguered youth from the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh.
The young man had been threatening the police personnel on the PRV 112 vehicle of the Mandawar police for two days over the phone saying that he was a terrorist and would attack soon. The local police and the SWAT team arrested the accused after tracing a call from surveillance.
The accused has already gone to jail in Chandigarh for demanding ransom. On Sunday, Mandawar police station officer Love Sirohi told in the press conference that on Friday night at 9:30 pm and on Saturday at 10:30 am, he threatened to attack PRV 112 Mandawar with a mobile number by calling himself a terrorist. The police revealed the case and formed a local police team and arrested the accused from Nampura Mor. In the police interrogation, the accused named his name Anees alias Ali son Mohammad Sajid resident Inampura police station Mandawar district Bijnor. The accused has gone to jail in police station Sector-34 Chandigarh for demanding ransom three months ago.
