Researchers at Monash University, Australia have invented the bionic eye, an eye developed after extensive research. This bionic eye has been tested, now preparations are being made to put it in the human brain.
Scientists have named this invention as the bionic eye and the eye also has headgear fitted with the camera. It will directly interact with the brain by keeping an eye on the activities happening nearby. The size of this device is nine by nine mm. It has taken more than ten years to create a bionic eye. Professor Laori believes that the help of this bionic eye will help in reducing the blindness of man. This eye can also be applied to a blind person from birth. Researchers have asked for funds to sell the device. However, a fund of Rs 7.35 crore was given to the researchers last year.
