Debalina Mandal (Intern journalist) Bangladesh: Dhaka has celebrated the first day of spring “Pahela Phagun” despite the corona pandemic in the country. Cultural programs were held in different locations across the country.
Programmes were held at Suhrawardy Udyan, Nandan Manch of Shilpakala Academy, and Jatiya Basanta Utsab Udjapan Parishad at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka. The programme featured dance and musical performances.
Young women were seen wearing yellow saris and styled with flowers and men were seen dressed in Punjabis for the festival.
As the day synchronizes with Valentine’s Day, the two events were celebrated together by the Youth of Bangladesh.
