German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said that a woman working in the Foreign Ministry has died. This woman lived in an apartment located at a blast site. It is the first German woman to die in a devastating explosion at the port of Beirut.
At the same time, according to a spokesman of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, five Indians have also been injured in the Beirut blast. It is a matter of relief that all five have suffered minor injuries. So far 135 people have died in the Beirut blast, while more than a thousand people are injured.
