AKSHI KAMBOJ (INTERN JOURNALIST)

Besan ke laddoo has been an integral part of every Indian household. Be it any festival, this sweet is always on the platter. its preparation does require a lot of patience and stirring but the end result comes out to be very sweet and delicious. Here, we represent to you an amazing recipe of these balls filled with goodness!!

Ingredients required:

  • 2 cups gram flour
  • 6-8 cashew nuts
  • 6-8 almonds
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 tbsp green cardamom powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar

Procedure:

  1. put some ghee in a non-stick Kadai and let melt. To this add gram flour and sauté it till it turns brown and you can smell the fragrance.
  2. after 15-20 minutes add ground almonds and cashew nuts and green cardamom powder to it. Stir the mixture properly. Now switch off the gas and let the mixture cool down.
  3. Once the mixture comes down to a normal temperature, add ground sugar in it and mix it well with your hands.
  4. Shape the mixture in normal-sized balls and store them in an airtight container.
