(Bhagya Luxmi, Intern Journalist) A pick-up van hit the bike near Ranet intersection in Bisoli Kotwali area of Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district on Thursday morning, killing three including father and daughter. The deceased were residents of village Mohanpur in the Ughaiti police station area.
It is being told that Shamsher (60), his daughter Fatima (18), and Jalaluddin (20), residents of village Mohanpur, were going to Bissauli at a relative’s house on a bike. At that time, the bike was driven by Jalaluddin, none of the three wore helmets.
His bike arrived near Ranet intersection in Bisouli Kotwali area that the pickup in front of him hit it hard. In this accident, all three, including father and daughter, died on the spot.
Police reached the information on this and took the three dead bodies and sent them for postmortem. The pickup driver is under arrest.
