According to the information received, the police headquarters is likely to attack VIP leaders during the Bihar elections. Police have refused to give specific information in this regard. However, the security arrangements are being reviewed afresh as per the instructions of the Police Headquarters.
PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi coming to Bihar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to have 12 election rallies in Bihar for the election campaign. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is also going to do six rallies. Both have their first rallies on 23 October. Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Congress’s Priyanka Gandhi are also among the high-profile leaders coming to Bihar. It is being told that security is being tightened in public meetings of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi, and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav.
First attack during PM Modi’s rally
It may be noted that during the 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign, during the rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, serial bomb blasts took place around the rally site.
