Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): During the election for the second phase of the assembly in Patna, free transport will be provided to the voters above 80 years of age and differently abled. The service will be provided from 7 am to 7 pm on 3 November. State’s Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sanjay Kumar Singh gave this information on Sunday.
He told that this service will be 100 percent free if the bill comes to 120 rupees. If the bill increases more than 120 rupees then that amount will be payable by the user. For this, the coupon code will be made available to the voters on their mobile number by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar. Its validity will be from 7 am to 7 pm on November 3.
First of all, the voter has to contact the Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar’s toll free number – 18003451950 on November 3 and get the coupon code. After this, the voter will have to open their account by downloading the Uber app on their mobile and enter the coupon code received. After this a request for free transport (from home to polling station and polling station to home) will have to be requested.
