(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): The police have become completely alert in terms of security. In order to prevent suspects and criminals from outside districts from entering the district of Patna district, the border of Patna district was sealed 48 hours before polling, i.e., after 12 pm on Saturday night. A thorough search and checking of vehicles going through 66 check posts after the border seal will be done.
For this, strict instructions have been given by the SSP Upendra Sharma to the policemen posted at the check posts. Police and paramilitary forces carried out a flag march in 22 police station areas of Patna on Saturday. Police were appealing to people to vote fearlessly during the flag marches that were taken out in other police station areas including Journalnagar, Kankarbagh, Digha, Gandhi Maidan, Pirbahore. After the flag march under the leadership of ASP Law and Order Swarn Prabhat, the police reached Nakta Diyara by boat and knew the condition of the polling stations. The ASP said that three section forces will be deployed in Nakta Diyara which will be deployed a day before the polling. The border of the district will be sealed from the evening of 2 November.
