(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): A day before Rahul Gandhi’s arrival in Bihar, a large amount has been recovered in the Congress state office. The information to the police was 50 lakhs, but about eight and a half lakhs have gone into the raid. Patna SSP Upendra Kumar Sharma has also confirmed receipt of information of 50 lakh, in which investigation is going on. It is now being investigated how much the total amount of money is. Investigations are also on where the money came from, who brought it and for whom it will be revealed in the investigation.
The way money is flying in elections is a big question. Funding games cannot be ruled out. During the elections to date, Rs 15.67 crore has been recovered in the state. These rupees without any calculated books were to be used in elections. So far, whatever money has been recovered has been received from luxury vehicles only. There was preparation to move it from one place to another.
