(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); The case of the disappearance of corona-infected patients in Mumbai during the corona infection period has been in the news. A similar case has come to light at the TB Hospital at Shivdi in Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), which is surprising. The corpse of a corona-infected patient, a native of Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, was found in the hospital’s toilet, which had been missing for 14 days.

Dean of Shivdi TB Hospital Lalit Kumar Anandi said that the BMC administration has started a high-level inquiry into the matter by issuing show-cause notices to more than 60 employees of the hospital. At the same time, the police have also started an investigation in the case. The body of the patient had become so bad that it was also difficult to identify his gender.

Dr. Anandi told that when he examined the hospital records, it was found that the body was of a 27-year-old patient. Later it was discovered that the name of the patient is Suryabhan Tejbahadur Yadav, who went missing from ward number 12 on October 4. BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya said that so far a dozen such incidents have happened in Maharashtra. 6 patients of Corona have also committed suicide. Home minister Anil Deshmukh is completely indifferent to such incidents and the Thackeray government is silent.
