UP News: Bomb threat at Lucknow’s Hussainganj metro station causes panic, security agencies on alert
Bomb Threat at Lucknow There was a panic at Lucknow’s Hussainganj metro station due to a bomb threat. Late Saturday night, information about a bomb being placed on UP Dial-112 was received. As soon as the information was received, the police bomb squad and dog squad reached the spot. However, no suspicious object was found even after the search. The police are searching for the informant.

Lucknow: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Uttar Pradesh. Information about a bomb being placed at Hussainganj metro station was given on UP Dial-112 late Saturday night. As soon as the information was received, all the security agencies were alerted immediately. On the other hand, along with senior police officials, the bomb squad and dog squad also reached the spot.

All the teams started searching the station. However, no suspicious object was found. According to the police, the informer is being searched. Information about a bomb being placed at Hussainganj metro station was given to the police to spread panic in the capital.

This information was given to the control room of UP Dial-112 at 10:55 p.m. It was then sent from the control room to the Police Commissioner’s office. An alert was immediately declared in the capital. Meanwhile, ADCP Central Manisha Singh, ACP Hazratganj Vikas Jaiswal, and Inspector Hussainganj Ramkumar Gupta reached with their team. The bomb disposal squad also reached in some time.
The entire station was searched, however no suspicious object was found. According to ADCP Central, from Hussainganj Metro Station, search has been started at many metro stations including Charabagh Railway Station, Alambagh, and Hazratganj for security reasons. All the police stations have been alerted. Police, bomb disposal squad along SSF are also engaged in this operation.

ACP Hazratganj Vikas Jaiswal said that the mobile of the person who called and gave the information is switched off. His last location was found near FI Tower in Burlington. To catch him, two police teams along with the surveillance team of the central zone have been deployed.

According to the police, two hours before the information, the SSF team engaged in the security of the metro had done a routine check. Railway station was also checked: As soon as the information was received, Charbagh railway station was also alerted. RPF checked the station. Also, everyone has been asked to inform as soon as they see any suspicious object.
