Stationary and booksellers from cities to towns have started ordering books and stationery from various publishers. About three lakh books came in a week.
Deoria city has more than two dozen stationery and book shops. There are also many stationery shops at the headquarters of Salempur, Barhaj, Rudrapur, Bhatparani Tehsil. The books did not come in the anticipation of not opening a school college this year, but businessmen were also excited when the government allowed the relief school to be opened with some conditions. Apart from Delhi, Meerut, Varanasi, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, books and copies of publishers have also been called from other places.
Stationery businessman Madan Lal says that this time the business is stagnating. Now some momentum is taking hold. Corona wasted it. Lots of copies but the demand for the book is coming.
Meanwhile, stationary businessman Tanjim Ahmed of Basiawan and Pawan Kumar of Tubewell Colony says that now publishers are slowly supplying. Students have also started coming. This has given life to the business. Meanwhile, Salempur businessman Pankaj Gupta said that this time the business was destroyed. Now books are coming. But the sale is not what it should be.
Can’t find the book
Student Vibhushita Mani said that due to not getting the CBSE book, there is a lot of trouble, some kind of work is being done. Deepak Kumar said that there was a lot of trouble with the class nine-book of bio. Similarly, Vijay Mishra of class 11 said that there is a problem in studies due to a lack of books.
