Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Prime Minister Boris Johnson is considering a lockdown in the country for a month, in view of the rise in cases of Covid-19 in Britain. According to reports, a lockdown can be announced on Monday across the country. Johnson held a meeting with senior cabinet colleagues on Friday to discuss the issue of sanctions in view of the increase in Covid-19 cases and the increasing number of hospitalized patients.
According to the news, under the new restrictions, everything except the essential goods shops and educational institutions can be closed. Potential restrictions may remain in force until Christmas in December. It is believed that no final decision has been taken in this regard and regional level measures are also likely to take place under the currently applicable three-phase lockdown at the local level.
So far 989,745 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Britain, while 46,229 people have died. Out of these, more than 274 people have died in the last 24 hours, while 24405 new cases have been reported. Not only Britain, but Corona has also increased these days in many countries of America and Europe. In France alone, more than 49 thousand cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. The maximum number of cases reported in the US in a day is 1 lakh. This is a record of cases of coronavirus recorded in one day all over the world.
