(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: Two roadways buses collided strongly in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow on Wednesday morning. Six people including the bus driver were killed and eight injured in the horrific accident. The injured were admitted to the Trauma Center for treatment where the condition of all is stated to be critical.
The tragic accident occurred on Hardoi road in Kakori, Lucknow at around 6:30 am on Wednesday. According to eyewitnesses, the roadways bus going from Lucknow towards Hardoi tried to overtake a truck, while the other roadways bus coming from the front collided strongly with it. It was so fast that the two buses flew away.
Three passengers, including the roadways bus driver, died on the spot after the accident, while three died on the way to the hospital. According to the police, 24 people including both roadways buses have been reported injured. Local people reported the incident to the police. On the spot, the police removed buses from the JCB machine from the road and admitted the injured to the Trauma center for treatment. Where everyone’s condition said to be critical.
